Bred in the hot and arid Moreno Valley, just an hour east of downtown LA, this solo emcee named The Faze seems to finally be on the cusp of widespread attention with release of his track “Maya Angelou ’96.”   The highly intuitive song and simple video helps round out the final bit of content from his last release The Suicide Note (Released on Dec 3rd, 2013) which has sold 1,000 copies independently to date.  The project broke The Faze into the greater consciousness of the Hip-Hop world getting him posts on HipHopDx and other California based blogs with his video for “Roses and Champagne.”
